COMING LATER THIS YEAR . . . Aarbok 2008 will continue the tradition of documenting the recent history of the Trønderlag of America. It will contain stories and photos from the annual stevner (gatherings) in 2006, 2007, and 2008. In addition it will contain 150 new biographies and photos of immigrants from Nord and Sør-Trøndelag regions of Norway. All 120 Charter Members of the organization will be featured in biographies. Aarbok 2006 is the second in a series of recent publications of the Trønderlag of America, a Norwegian-American organization.

The book Aarbok 2005 documents the Trønderlag organization's recent history and activities, including the research and writing of family and immigration stories. Norwegian immigrant biographies in this volume provide first-hand accounts of immigration experiences or a researched perspective by family or friends. The biographies pertain to those who emigrated from the Trøndelag region of Norway (north and south of Trondheim), In addition, it also contains many photos of the immigrants and their families.
